Board of Directors:
  The Board of Directors provides the corporate responsibilities for the operation of PLAN of PA.  The functions of the Board include establishing policies to assure that PLAN of PA accomplishes its mission.  In addition, the Board:
  • monitors PLAN of PA's yearly budget
  • arranges for periodic external financial audits
  • reviews and establishes personnel policies
  • undertakes long-term planning

PLAN of PA's Board consists of a group of non-reimbursed volunteers.  Several of our Board members have a mentally disabled relative and have, with the help of PLAN of PA, developed care plans for their own impaired relatives.  The other board members provide additional expertise in fund raising, law, publicity, psychiatry and social work.
