Town Hall Meetings for PLAN Families

In June 2016, PLAN of PA held its first Town Hall meeting. All families who were then receiving Trust or Care Management Services were invited to attend. The event offered a platform for social interaction, information sharing, and engagement with family members of those PLAN serves with PLAN’s Board of Directors and Team Members. This event was so well received that Executive Director, Christy Holland, and the Board decided to make this a semi-annual event. Town Hall events were held on Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st of this year.

Each Town Hall includes:

  • Time for family members to meet and engage with one another, members of the board of directors, and PLAN team members.
  • A review of the fiscal stability and sustainability of the organization
  • Recent financial performance and expected growth/development
  • Remarks from one or more of the members of the Board of Directors
  • Remarks by Executive Director, Christy Holland including updates on accomplishments and goals set since the last town hall gathering
  • A brief status update on the Trust Services and Care Management departments
    Success stories from our team members
  • A Question and Answer session

Thank you to all who have attended one or more of these events. PLAN of PA thoroughly appreciates the opportunity to engage our families in a social setting and hear positive feedback and constructive dialogue about improvements and goals.

We look forward to the next Town Hall in autumn of 2017 where we hope to spend time with even more family members of those we serve.


Trust Services Happy Hours

In November 2016, the Board of Directors of PLAN of PA hosted a networking opportunity and complimentary Happy Hour for over 65 prominent members of the financial and legal community.

At the event, the PLAN Board and Team shared how Care Management and Trust Services work together at PLAN to provide peace of mind to families and assure a higher quality of life to their family members with special needs.

This event was so well received that PLAN will offer additional gatherings for financial and legal professionals about every 12 to 18 months. If you would like to be on the guest list for future events, please send an email  with the subject “guest list” to mail@planofpa.org.

Special Needs Planning Workshops

PLAN of PA teams up with area professionals to present a number of free educational workshops throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania that address the important legal, financial and care management issues families should consider when planning for the future.
